Company ProfileAt TMI we specialise in engineering for industry, marine, public, and the motor trade. Whether you need an automotive thread repaired, a conveyer shaft manufactured, a broken tap sparked out on site, a work-bench fabricated or a complete machine refurbishment. We are more than happy to travel to you to remove broken bolts/studs, diagnostic work, measure cranks and bores, general maintenance, or just have a coffee. We have a comprehensive range of machinery and equipment, including an XYZ Proturn VL425 CNC lathe, XYZ VM4000 CNC bed mill and a XYZ SM3000 SMX CNC mill. Our largest lathe allows us to machine work up to 700mm in the gap, 480mm over the bed, 2000mm in length and 80mm up the spindle. We also have a very large milling capacity. This, together with a Thermal Arc 400 amp twin pulse MIG, MMA and a state of the arc Lorch 350 amp AC/DC TIG welding plant, and 2 fully computerised dynamic balancing machines one for small rotors the other for large rotors, various grinding machines and much much more, will enable us to solve all your engineering problems.
