Important information

  •     All heads are checked for flatness and valve integrity before any other work is carried out

  •     All crack testing is a 3 stage test:  visual - pressure - vacuum

  •     All re-surfaced heads and Blocks are machined to suit the gasket and then measured for surface  roughness, as you can see in the picture above the surface finish on the Vauxhall 1.7D head is 10.8 Ra the recommended industry standard for MLS gaskets are better than 30 Ra and between 30 and 60 Ra for composite gaskets.
